Clay sculpture with integrated metal and roe deer horns on wood , painted with oil .
78cm high, 28cm wide, 20cm deep.
The word “Tribal” contains the English term “Tribe”, which means “trunk”. To be precise: “Ethnic tribe”. And this is exactly where the origin of tribal tattoos lies. In which peoples the tribals originated cannot be clearly determined. What is certain, however, is that the style refers to ancient island peoples (Maori, Polynesians or Samoans). The different theories have one thing in common: The tribals were a sign of belonging to a certain tribe.

Hi my name is Elena , i am an artist and choreographer living in Kiel . I masterfully combine figurative , floral ,portret and animals painting. In Kiel I am the owner of two dance schools and my artwork is inspired by my passion for dancing, merging the charm and grace of a dancer, thus giving the paintings a very special, very sensual touch. In addition, through years of experience with body control as well as an expert´s view for body language, both which I acquired in the long years as a trainer, choreographer and dancer myself, I breathe life into my paintings in a highly artistic way. When I finish a painting, I am ready for it to find its new home. I have had my time in creation and development, and when it’s finished, my time with it is over, and I know it was created for someone else’s enjoyment. I love what I do. I love creating artwork, and I’m proud of the images I create. Beautiful, meaningful images that speak to individuals as much as they spoke to me.
