ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Constructed of steel, and given a copper patina faux finish, "Tabernacle" is an original sculpture, Formalist in approach, with leanings towards the mystical. The title comes from references to spiritual architecture and cosmic interactions depicted in the metal work. The artist wishes to convey a connection to the Cosmos and Humanity's place within it. It includes a polished, stone base. The sculpture can be displayed outside, but indoors it will retain it's luster and finish.
