The Great Bald Eagle Sculpture

Red Oak hard wood, Sealed with three coats of polyurethane Approximate size: 6′ 5″ tall, 28” wide Original one of a kind artwork Signed on side This eagle sculpture stands 5’2” tall, carved in a solid log of red oak using chainsaws and other power tools, and is finished with hand tools. Sealed with three coats of polyurethane varnish. I have payed great attention to the details, and endeavored to create a truly unique sculpture. I have sought for an aesthetic balanced with charm and realism. The dark line down the center of the eagle is not a crack but bark from where the two branches fork away from the trunk. I don’t consider it a flaw but a part of the piece. For the sake of structural integrity it has been reinforced with resin.
