The IJsselbank is a design for a product which refers to tourism and recreation. The product is a durable manufactured outdoor bench which is made of wood that comes from the IJssel Valley. The bench can be placed on special viewpoints along the river IJssel. The design is bright, contemporary, robust and fits in a natural environment. The design is vandalism proof. The bank is sawn out of a trunk. The design is inspired by the history of our distant ancestors who long ago with trunks the rivers gravitated.
