About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the wood itself. The shape of the wood and the wood grains as well as the colors. The eye of the alligator is painted and then a resin was applied. The tooth is a cut piece of deer antler from a found shed antler. The fear of the unknown either real or imagined is what I was trying to achieve.
