My family and I were witnesses and part of the tragedy in Syria. We were forced to flee to Sweden in 2014. This work is an attempt to express that tragedy and the need for empathy and hope for a better tomorrow. Although I am a non-religious person, but I have always been inspired by religious stories which intensify human wisdom. Ceramic is a sacred and mythical material that enables me to express my emotions and narratives freely.
