THE UNKOWN JOURNEY OF EVER KNOWING YOUR JOURNEY FOR SURE Sculpture

My main inspiration is my general idea regarding space and gaps and the sense of what separation can define if possible in visual language with less visual noise as possible. I will try to impart a little about this piece regarding this visual language that I intended to express below. A STATE OF BEING AWAY FROM A PLACE OR PERSON OR THING OR DEEPLY HELD ATTITUDE TOWARDS SOMETHING OR AVERSION OF DISTASTE, A FEELING OF LACK, OR DEEP DESIRE OR NEED OF WANT, Many of these in-between states of being as my suggestion' leave us in a kind of mental and spiritual thirst whereby a vacuum circles on itself from different angles constantly informing us of its presence and absence' in the mist of any concerns we might be having at ay one time within our life of these abstract concerns of feelings. Theres a kind of deep need within us that wishes to follow a train of thought to have a sense of before the occasion type of thing' to reappear again in fullness and in our lives as a sensing of normal or like that of a bad dream experience when one awakens and realises that in relief it was just a bad dream. it was my intension who found these broken bits by a factory ready to be discarded to the waste yard, to bring back a kind of nobility to them in someway and utilise some meaning regarding these gaps and spaces I have been talking about, plus the timbers themselves. In it's making and construction I added hinges and brackets and many cuts between the wood that make them flexible in the work. And I have cut sections in each end like that of a jigsaw puzzle bit' as if to highlight desire too movement and a sense of improvement within the work towards a sense of coming together and closing and uniting any gaps that might exist there within. I have done this on aesthetic and metaphoric level deliberately in order of intension of bringing a sense and quality of things that is applicable to the blanks of wood desiring to circumnavigate the circumference of desiring to be a tree again as-well as part of its overall meaning I am trying to convey. These spaces and gaps are something we have become to recognise as humans as part of the learning process of life. But in a positive sense in closing gaps and filling vacuums with metaphoric type embraces of many varied sought's we reconnect to the very thing that can make us feel human again and life affirming that comforts and unites the hunger of an individual in many ways to a comfortable state or sense of normality and not the feeling of alienation towards ones absence of reality. The actual title behind the work is in the absence of not knowing that of something of great enjoyment or importance or pleasure of many different experiences with different individuals that know longer are around in our life in such a familiar way. This experience can take shape in many different forms and can be subjective in content to material items as-well of people or animals we cherish or think about at times and many other varied things besides this. But we flounder in thought, and we never quite know the journey and the bigger questions of life ! Through many do have faith! in many forms" Sometimes that is not quite enough for others. This situation can be also relative to the subject as it can be to the person who's questioning the absence of the subject. Through I am not just talking about a sense of something passing from this world. only these gaps and spaces cover many things. Also to add; its similar in meaning for the materials used as the metaphor I mentioned earlier of the tree plank I found outside of the factory. It was obviously coming from somewhere in the world, But I will never quite know where of what exact location of the tree and what forest. The journey as been erased from my experience in it's finding ! Geographically it as no Reference point of exact location. And to add a little humour here; away from the more serious points above. Neither will it ever tell me so. Hence the title and all the other appendages mentioned above and similarities that I have covered.
