Art Description

Sculpture: Acrylic, Metal, Plastic on Soft (Yarn, Cotton, Fabric), Wood.

The queen wolf is an ancient South African fairy tale gathered from Nelson Mandela.

My wooden boards have their own specific function: they translate into material the symbolic-dream world of fairy tales; they evoke their intrinsic value: the emotional language.
They are mixed media works of small-format and tell tales of the classical and modern repertoire of the different cultures of the world.
Each work is performed on a wooden structure and contains inside: painted parts, photographs, symbolic objects and a key phrase, taken from the text of every fairy tale, which defines its meaning.
