About The Artwork
Throne Force, a dynamic arrestor of light. It is made in a neutral pallet of black and silver meta & foam components with light shimmering effects. Half my mind in a sci-fi galactic wilderness and the other half nestled comfortably in safe perimeters of the familiar. An interactive magnetic system of components come together to create a character or futuristic matrix. Artistic assemblage & construction technique is utilized to create unique, individually crafted magnetic emblems. These emblems are made with mixed materials of foam, brushed metals, plastics and more. Leaving options open with an interactive nature to move the placement of the components around to create something entirely new or keep the artist's original composition. The purpose of my work is to invoke a vision of a futuristic world that invites you to take part. I like to include many geometric features, clean lines, and a neutral pleasing palette rich in metallics with high reflectivity. When the viewer encounters my work, I want them to see my inspirations of industrial architecture, digital technology, futuristic battle armor tempered with timeless style. Your piece will arrive as the fixed grid frame, with the magnetic components individually wrapped for you to assemble in the original artist's expression OR your very own. Frequently emerging from a futuristic paradox, I prefer to create through a futuristic, abstract lens. I love to pull inspiration from the past into the present, with a focus on the future. I enjoy creating pieces that provoke wonder. As a futurist, my heart is to explore the goodness of God in the hope of a better future by imagining what will be. When the viewer encounters my work, I want them to consider the future and feel order, calmness and see opportunity. I encourage the viewer to assess the space we presently occupy and consider the space we will occupy in the future. We determine the paths of our future by the decisions we make today. Some of my pieces provoke an interactive response in a multi-sensory way. This invites interaction with the power to change a current position. Some of my inspirations include architecture, space colonization, digital technology and quantum physics. Brande is known best for her edgy, geometric costume & headpiece designs. With over 20 years of experience in fashion styling/costume design, photography became her first medium of expression. Her work was published in 75+ worldwide publications & magazine covers from 2014-2019. Her love for artistic design naturally evolved into a vast skillset that spans several different genres.
