I was always fascinated by the mediterranean sea. Since my childhood, I remember myself going to the beach to process my emotions, whatever they may be. The Tonna Galea is a small representation of the feeling of home the sea provides for me. This is what I want to convey with this sculpture.

I have always wanted to work with my hands. My father gave me an amazing opportunity to work in his bronze foundry were I learnt how to work in clay, plaster and bronze. I have been working in the foundry for the last 15 years on sculptures produced by local artists. Now I am focusing the skills and training I acquired on my own sculptures.
