Top 1/2 ZUBR Sculpture

Picked up a flattened drink can off the road, because I liked the composition of colours and shapes. I then cut it in two, and cut out the shapes of the two halves out of cardboard, and stitched the flattened can halves into the cardboard with gold coloured cotton thread, and framed the results behind glass in old dark wood frames with gold coloured inner edging, complementing the gold coloured details on the flat can composition. This hybrid sculpture-painting is the top half of the can. On the reverse side are the date, my signature, print of my left thumb, and an anti forgery stamp. The measurements include the frame, which is an integral part of this object d’art.
