ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Another marble stone found and picked up from the riverbed in Azzano, Tuscany. The hardness and wildness of this stone inspired me to create a strong, resilient female torso. She is a woman marked and scarred by the men in her life. But still she stands tall, upright, ready to fight and stand her ground. No man will beat or defeat her, nothing will down her. To me she is every woman.

For my inspiration I look at all the beauty that surrounds me, generally female beauty and translate that into my sculptures. What would men be without women and female beauty?
