About The Artwork
The sacred symbol of the Tree of Life, represented in the work, appears in the most varied mythologies and refers us to ideas of harmony, protection, balance, wisdom and enlightenment. In this work, the artist recreates the large trees that are present in his astral projections: their leaves that grow towards the sky, their trunk that symbolizes the earth and their roots that are shaped in a way that indicates the healing potential of the crystal. used to make the foliage, mixing non-verbal and verbal language, thus giving multiple dimensions to the work. The tree is in a box with a mirrored surface, which reflects the viewer, and the LED light, which illuminates the sculpture, may or may not be activated via a touchscreen button. This ingenious ecosystem allows the spectator not only to participate in the work, but also to give permission for it to exist. For the artist, the greatest law, which is the Law of Free Will - for this reason, the spectator's first contact with the artwork is only his reflection, thus generating an enchantment for the mystery and curiosity for what is inside, choosing, then, by the interaction with the work. By authorizing its existence, the viewer can dive into the ethereal meditation of light and healing provided by the artwork.

The beginning of my artistic career takes place between the time when as a child I expressed myself through modeling and drawings - and I demonstrated a certain ease in geometry, and the moment when I started to graduate in Interior Design - and I was able to have a greater contact with the formal aspects of art and an authorial artistic production. I consider the period of social isolation, caused by the covid-19 pandemic, essential for my journey, in which I had the possibility of immersing myself in my production and articulating theoretical currents, which I have studied and experienced for some time. Since then, I have been experiencing healing through alternative therapies that make use of sacred symbols, crystals, and chromotherapy that have influenced the materiality of my artwork. My research takes place in the field of nature and mysticism and has a deep connection with physics and technology, due to my extensive professional experience with engineering and automation projects. Through the interlocution between these fields, I experiment with mirrors, glasses, led, acrylics, crystals, cold porcelain and woods, and crystals with their potential to balance the energy fields around them. I try, then, to awaken the spectator about the power and complexity of nature and, also, the varied possibilities we have to interpret and live it.
