The Twilight Bodies are a series of vases all thrown on the potter’s wheel, and then hand sculpted to create abstract feminine biomorphic forms. They are then glazed with a matte copper luster raku glaze and then finished in a Raku kiln that bring out the colorful affects of twilight hour. The color of the sky at dusk and at dawn. This vessel is extremely fragile, handle with 2 hands at the base when moving (never pick up from the lip), this vessel does not hold water.
