Art Description

Sculpture: Drift wood, Metal and Woodcut on Wood.

The material and idea of the sculpture were inspired by lake Onega - the biggest reservoir of fresh water in Europe in the north of Russia. The banks of the lake are covered with drifted wood. This place, known as Devil's nose, is mystically situated between neolitic pagan petroglyphs and nothern Bizantium monastery of the 14th century. The scenes of hunting from these pertoglyphs decorates the facade of New Hermitage in St-Petersburg. Taiga around is filled with spirits.
'Unlocked angel' comes from that incredible place.
