Lucia marchesin, born in 1993, graduated from the Liceo Classico with a scientific/technological address at the G.B.brocchi in Bassano del Grappa; she then obtained the degrees of I and II Level in Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. She has participated in two Erasmus programmes in Spain: the fist one study at the University of Fine Arts in Granada and the other internship as head of physical and social cartography, coordination of artists for the creation of an artistic path in the natural surroundings of La zubia of which also artist realizing his own work. He has exhibited in personal and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, participated in many symposiums, art residences, congresses, competitions and workshops both national and European. Lucia marchesin is an artist of Land Art and sculptor. His works are continuous experimentation of some materials chosen for their dynamism and their expressive strength from which then arise surprising combinations connected by a delicate tactile and visual sense. The humility of raw materials such as nails, the metallic net, the wood and the lead united to the complex laboriousness of the working allows to its works to express in the complex a subjective and metaphorical vision of the nature and the human soul. His sculptural poetics is a clear reference to primitivism as an expression of simplification of forms and the exaltation of plastic values or essential volumes, to the sense of communion with nature where the final work is the conclusion and interpretation of an already innate process in matter.
