Viscocity Globe ( Nazgûl) Sculpture

This piece is one of my favourite from the Viscocity globe series. It was created during the darkest period during the Covid 2020. While most people were locked down, I was still able to work alone in my studio. Keeping my business running. I was proud and lucky to be able to find a way to keep working but also, sad and worried for all the other people and businesses, suffering in the world at this time. The silhouettes created by the bronze drips remind me of the dark battles depicted in the Lord Of the Rings films. And although this piece depicts a dark time in our past, it also represents a relentless battle that all people on this planet faced. Which we triumphed over eventually. I regard this as a positive thing and a massive achievement for mankind.
