The male torso sculpture titled, "Zeus" was created by William Braemer in 2015. In creating this Romanesque type sculpture, William was inspired by the classic Greek mythological God, Zeus. The sculpture consists of a skeletal structure whereby successive layers upon layers of U.S. Coin (pennies) are fused together with resin and epoxy creating this life-like figurative body of a male stretching as posing. The sculpture has a very masculine physical presence to it that exudes power and strength. The reflection of light on the U.S. coin with the resin and epoxy finish provides the viewer with a rich copper lustre that looks magnificent in any decor. This sculpture has recently been on exhibition in London, England and throughout Italy, Monaco and featured in Tokyo's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
