About The Artwork
this work is inspired by an animated sequence in "the wall" where a cathedral is destroyed, babies morph into monsters and flowers turn to barbed wire. pink Floyd has long been the inspiration for many of my works and Gerald scarfe's visual interpretation creates amazing launching points for all types of mediums. the later empty spaces pieces have actual barbed wire as stems and I will show them later as well. other inspirations for my work include alexander calder, david smith and Robert moore.
