Art Description

Sculpture: Lights, LED, Metal, Neon, brass on Other.

Static Light debuted at the Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2018. It was created as a light artwork to represent a single electromagnetic wave and the first in a series to explore light and magnetism. The undulating wave of light contrasted with a sharp linear rod illustrates the dual nature of light arrested in static sculptural form. At over six feet long it has a commanding presence day and night. Edition of 25 and 2 proofs. Each piece is signed and numbered.
