Paweł Patrzyk- Sculptor, Structure Researcher Paweł Patrzyk (b. 1985, Częstochowa, Poland) is a sculptor whose artistic practice forms a unique bridge between visual arts and neuroscience. Rather than merely replicating reality, his work analyzes the biological and emotional mechanisms of human functioning, most notably explored the "Antifragility" series (Antykruchość). Patrzyk’s signature style is characterized by intricate, openwork structures constructed from hundreds of meters of wire. Created entirely freehand without the use of ready-made templates or molds, these forms demonstrate exceptional technical precision. His work has gained international recognition, with a career breakthrough marked by the "Legami" exhibition at the Arcadia Art Gallery in Milan (2023) and winning the Grand Prize in the prestigious Boynes Monthly Art Award. His sculptures have also been distinguished by the international Camelback Gallery platform. Deeply rooted in his local context, Patrzyk actively shapes the culture of his community. In May 2025, his solo exhibition "Antifragility"an artistic study of adaptation and psychological resilience was held at the Gaude Mater Cultural Promotion Centre. He also shares his technical mastery as an educator, conducting specialized wire sculpture workshops (including at the "Bliska Sztuka" art fair). Beyond his studio practice, Patrzyk engages in social and literary projects. As an author and honorary guest of the "Benevolent Częstochowa" project, he utilizes his artistic sensitivity to promote social integration and local identity. His oeuvre serves not only as an aesthetic object but as an intellectual record of the processes that define the human experience.
