The work entitled Indefinite References grew to become my first work which has got two forms: the physical and the verbal. The first came the physical form: a white wall measuring 150 cm x 180 cm has got 38 audio jack sockets installed in it. The viewer may travel across the wall listening to 38 individual audio tracks. Each track is a different indefinite reference, which require from the listener a great deal of imagination. It is the listener's job to create a context for the audio listened to. The verbal form of the work was prepared For Mediations Biennale’s accompanying exhibition programme. IR was included in Hub or Sc(h)ab exhibition featuring artists describing their work using only verbal language. The aim of the experiment was to fflip over the role of an exhibition viewer and encourage a deeper reflection on the part of the viewer. The exhibition aimed at challenging the traditional ways of showing artwork.
