'The Centre' is a 3 minute 47 second film that follows the narrator's metaphorical journey to the centre of something. Images, language and narrative continuously reference the Centre's existence whether it be a real, imagined or even a digital/metaphysical place.

Aaron Wells studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts and is now a practicing Artist based in London. I make film and video works that explore the illusory nature of images and language within cinema, media and the everyday. My work aims to deconstruct the cinematic viewing experience through the interplay of narrative, image and observation. I take an alternate look on movement, objects, function and place within the structures of image and film; often focusing on places or space where there are missing elements, such as an abandoned estate or blank reel of film. Images and language are placed together in often-humorous relationships; yet are never far from a deeper more philosophical questioning of the wider world around. This aims to provide the viewer with a new perspective of not only film but that of their everyday surroundings. https://vimeo.com/101928907
