Lucilla Kossowska

I am a painter, educator, short film director, founder of IEPS-Institute of Education through Art, a secretary of board of trustees INSEA International Society of Education through Art, a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists in Opole Chapter and Warsaw-Interdisciplinary section Young at art. I teach English through Artâ„¢ author's program for learners of English where assimilation of foreign language is achieved through performing and visual arts practice.

I received my Phd in Fine Arts in 2016 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Poland.Thesis Title: An Imaginarium of Identity: Hermeneutics as a way of experiencing identity in painting artwork and video art. (funded by Institute of Education through Arts). Doctoral advisor: Professor A. M. Kramm

An author of 3 short films: Made in China (2008), Forrest Mammals (2009) and Lucilla’s Hermeneutics (2016). Since year 2000 the artworks have been exhibited in over 16 solo and 65 group exhibitions in galleries and museums in Poland and abroad including: Museo MARCO in Mexico (2012), European Parliament in Strasburg (2011), Arsenal City Art Gallery in Poznań (2009); University Gallery Of Escuela Superior De Bellas Artes in Cartagena, Colombia (2008). Took part in 12 artistic plein airs.
