Arthur Yang

Born in Republic of China in 1959. Grew up in Yerevan (Armenia). Since 1999 lives and works in France.

1974-1978 Abramtsevo Secondary School of Industrial Art, Moscow.
1982-1987 The Moscow Printing Industry Institute, department of graphic design and book illustration.  
1996-1998  is working in the Atelier “Contrepoint” in Paris (“Atelier 17”).
In 1996-1998 was admitted in the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
In 1998 in Paris starts the Jam Painting®, a permanent project in collaboration with different artists.
Member of the Union of Russian Artists (1988), International Art Foundation (1989) and the Union of French Artists (1998).  
Since 2005 curator of French department of the International Biennale in Novosibirsk, Russia.
Freelance artist. Works in painting, photography, graphic and sculpture.
