Jade Sharp

Jade- Elizabeth Sharp. an abstract painter residing in Oxfordshire, UK. Jade Elizabeth spent most of her years, based between Bedfordshire and London, before moving to Oxfordshire in 2020. Going by alias of Artist on the Thames. Her works are Inspired by combining the shapes of nature and bold and bright colours of the city life. Inspiring new surreal and abstract worlds and views of what we see in her artwork.

Jade-Elizabeth Art school trained in Fine Art and Design, also studying Fine Art at De Montfort University in 2010. Developing her abstract painting style, Through the movement of bold paint and brush marks. Using layers with acrylic paint, along with arrange of vibrant colours, adding depth to her works. From use of paint brushes to squeegees, palette knives and sponges, creates the distinctive paint marks in her paintings, making them stand out on the canvas. Her Inspirations comes from striking paint palette she chooses and the marks she makes using the acrylic paint.
