Autumn Rose

Autumn was raised by an incredibly creative mother, and influenced by her free spirited grandmother who taught dance. She learned from a young age to enjoy making things with her hands and to find inspiration and beauty in every part of daily life. Autumn says,” I am a free spirit; I love to paint, I love music, and I find deep satisfaction from working in my desert garden at home in Phoenix,AZ.”

Autumn also has a fascination with ocean botanicals. She finds it intriguing to see how coral reef shapes can often mimic those of desert botanicals.

Her passion for painting comes from colors in nature, and often from textures or patterns in plant life. Autumn expresses,“my art is all about color and texture.” She enjoys the combination of acrylic paint contrasted by line work from a paint pen. “My work is a reflection of my bubbly personality, and the zest I have for life,” she adds. “I hope that people find a moment of joy when they look at what I’ve created.”

Autumn attended school for graphic design in Oregon, and after taking classes in drawing and color theory, she fell in love with traditional media. She began painting, and loves it more every day.
