Bert Van Gerwen

I was born september 1, 1957 in Heerde Netherlands. When I was 8 years old I won my first artistic prize, I was number one in a drawing contest of Disney's Donald Duck magazine:-)

In primary school I made my first oil paintings and I got some special art education. Since then art has always drawn my attention. Then I had to make money, and I studied to become Master in Business Economics and started own comapnies mainly related to internet and e-business.
After 2003, I felt that it was time to restart the artistic drive that was hidden for so many years. I went to CVK Amadeus in the South of Netherlands, training several skills by professional artists. Joined some small expositions in in the nearby cities. In 2009 I moved to Belgium, where i went to masterclasses: one year drawing and painting portraits only, and later on focussing on Acryl paintings on Canvas.
