“We do not remember days, we remember moments" ― Cesare Pavese.
The beauty, fragility, mystery and truth in nature inspires my work. I am also interested in the element of change and movement; movement which implies the passage of time. My approach to subject matter and the process of drawing-which I find an endless adventure, offering endless possibilities in terms of creative expression and invention- both direct as well as layered and complex.
I created most of the work featured on this site during the Covid-19 quarantine period when nature, human life and death where engaged in a battle of global proportions. My hope is that my work will vividly uplift as well as challenge the viewer to contemplate
life's stunning yet transient nature..
