I'm originally from a small village in South Wales that probably no one from my current home in Hong Kong is likely to have heard of. Before coming to Asia I spent ten years or so in London, first graduating from Chelsea, then assisting a lot of wonderful photographers and video directors before, a chance trip to HK changed everything.

I relocated to HK just before the handover of sovereignty to China and set up Blow Up Studios soon after, since when life has treated me kindly.

Personal work is important to me, it gives voice to who I am as a photographer and helps to define me as an individual. As an established yoga and fitness photographer I am naturally drawn to movement and form, something I sought to develop in a series of abstract studio based figurative and dance studies placed here on SaatchiArt

More recently I’ve taken my personal love of dance imagery out into the great outdoors and created the “Bodies in Motion, Bodies at Rest” project. The work is a site specific dance exploration of Hong Kong. It’s a personal homage to my adopted home, wherein dance is used to bring context the many varied locations we have featured.
