ART ACCESS SOUTH CAROLINA Master Teaching Artist Clarence Carter Boucher is a Visual artist, Author and Musician . He studied art at ETSU where he was the first student to win the honors show in three categories. At the University of South Carolina he was chosen for the senior honors show. He also studied Set Design in Strasbourg , France with Louis Fantasia at Schiller College. His artwork is in many collections and has appeared in juried, one man shows, been in national magazines, on Public Television and in many newspapers. Carter’s children’s books are published by Richard C. Owen. He has written adult non-fiction and satire which are available on His poetry has been in numerous publications and anthologies. He won the international Golden Poet award and has been featured in Poems by the World’s Best Living Poets and About the Author.

11/22 and 23/2019 I just came from making two [presentations at the South Carolina Art Educators Association.

I have been very busy finishing up my book on how to become an ARTIST IN RESIDENCE.
I just came back from

11/4-7/2019 I was an Artist in Residence at the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind.

5/14/2019 I just delivered my painting Left Rectangle to the Piccolo Spoleto Juried show at the City Gallery, Charleston SC. It will be on display during the Festival. I saw some of the other entries it will be a really strong show. Be sure and include a visit in your activities.

I have a lull in public performances for a while as I catch up on my studio.
