Thomas Bredenfeld

The German artist Thomas Bredenfeld studied painting in Düsseldorf, Salzburg and Vienna.
For many years, his landscape paintings have focussed exclusively on Alpine landscapes. Both in his paintings and in his photographs, he depicts the light moods of the high mountains over rock, ice and snow.
While his paintings are made up of abstract textures and brushstrokes and do not depict real landscapes, his mostly large-format photographs are highly precise images of Alpine landscapes.
He has realised various art-in-architecture projects in both disciplines, painting and photography.
