Caleb Davis

I grew up in a rural town outside of Akron, Ohio. The isolation I was often granted as a child gave me countless hours to draw and develop an artistic style. My mother was a portrait and wedding photographer which gave me access to professional grade equipment and the good fortune of having a darkroom to develop my film. I studied photography at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh after high school and traveled incessantly. I didn’t pick up my first real paintbrush until 2007. It wasn’t until 2012 that I started to painting on a somewhat regular basis. By the tail end of 2015 I made an official studio space in my home and have been painting at a professional level ever since.
