Jeffrey Knee studied painting and photography at The Savannah College of Art and Design, and earned recognition for independent creative achievements ever since grade school in Orange Park, Florida. He continues to grow and mature as an artist, lately in digital photography and video image editing. Won "Independent Creative Achievement Award 1984," graduated Salutatorian. 1985 - "2nd Regional Juried Art Exhibitions," Spartanburg, SC, Lowery Sims (assoc. curator from Metropolitan Museum of Art), juror. 1984 - Published in Photographers' Forum's "Best of College Photography Annual" national juried competition. 1984 - "Photography/Xerography" group juried show, Pinnacle Gallery, Rochester, NY. 1984 - "United States National Fine Arts Competition and International Exhibition," show traveled to Florida State Capitol, Tallahassee; American Center of Fine Arts, Paris, Fr.; International Burckhardt Akademie, Rome, Italy; and the Akademie der Bildenen Kunste, Munich, Germany (3rd Place). 1983 - "International Newspaper Snapshot Awards," sponsored by Kodak and local Florida Times-Union, Jacksonville: First Place for black & white photography locally and int'l finalist.
