Carolina Bedoya

Since the age of 17, I has been academically, commercially and artistically engaged with photography. I am most interested in new documentalism and photography where one can touch intimate topics, my practice is distinguished by experimentation with analog photography and its juxtaposition with digital techniques. My work has been included in group shows in Colombia, Paris, Lagos and most recently in Graz, Austria, where her work was also included in Rûm magazine in 2019 and 2022. In 2017, her work was selected for the book Mujeres Fotógrafas Colombianas published by Fotomeraki, and in 2021, she published her first photobook, Verdriet. Currently I am working in my second photobook.
