Catherine Malloy

Technology’s influence on everyday life is at the core of my art work. I use oil painting, drawing and multi-media techniques to explore the ongoing cultural shifts brought on by the proliferation of technology, particularly mobile.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Malloy received her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art on a Gund Scholarship. She has lived and worked in Cleveland, New York City, Santa Fe and the San Francisco Bay area. Catherine Malloy currently lives and works in Austin, Texas.
