I've been a wire sculpture artist for over 16 years, I originally studied engineering and then went into the world of heavy trucks, driving them all over the UK and Ireland. Having always been creative I found my passion in metal, it was the perfect medium for me, this strangely led me into the world of weddings, a complete change from 44 tonne trucks.
After spending several years building an award winning bridal accessories business in rural Scotland I found myself taking a break to find a more organic direction and spent some time learning the art of silversmithing at Glasgow School of Art. This led to my designing and creating a more medieval/celtic/elven style of headdress which in turn took me into a world of forests and my tree sculptures.
I now split my time between my native Kent in South East England and rural Nottinghamshire where the iconic Sherwood Forest is almost on my doorstep providing a truly beautiful word of inspiration.
Today, my work sells all over the world to all sorts of people and outlets, from bridal customers for my headdresses to interior finishers, collectors and galleries for my trees.
