Phuket based French self-taught artist, Celine Masson has been honing her skills in the land of smiles for the past several years.

After so many years living in Asia, Celine has a deep and genuine appreciation for the inherent beauty of people and culture of Asia.

These unique paintings of hers are a lighthearted perspective on the stereotype of the Asian woman. The collection draws inspiration form Asian female faces juxtaposed with the exposure of women in Asian society.

Before painting, each canvas is covered with original manga cartoons.

The paintings depict first and foremost the strength and beauty of women portrayed against a subtle of vintage imagery.

Each painting is playful with strong bold colors that bring each image to life.

Beauty doesn't exist on its own but it is created by the observer, the be a beholder you have to pay attention.

Art is everywhere this is her own mantra. She sees beauty everywhere, nature and people faces.
