Christine Hyde is a visual artist who paints en plein air and in her bush studio in the Heritage Listed Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. Christine primarily takes her inspirations from her immediate bushland environs and neighbouring mountain locations. Her paintings depict contemporary landscapes real and imagined in a literal and metaphorical sense. Christine successfully exhibits in local Galleries and Art Shows. Her paintings hang in private homes in Australia, the UK and France. Her most recent exhibit was a group exhibition at One88 Fine Arts Gallery, Katoomba. Next year Christine will present a solo exhibition at the Lindsay Cafe in the grounds of Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum, Faulconbridge, NSW, Australia. Christine also has a private boutique gallery next to her Studio which is open on specific advertised dates and otherwise by private appointment.
