My current practice is an ongoing exploration of abstraction in painting.

My approach to painting is intuitive and experimental and incorporates a range of media onto the painting surface.My work is almost entirely abstract but is heavily influenced by both the natural and urban landscape.

Each painting is built up of layer upon layer of various materials which are often removed, amended, added to or destroyed. The process of creating each work leaves a series of residues, marks and traces. These elements can be read as a series of moments and gestures captured in time to form a visual history of the creation process.
