Comert Dogru

born in i̇stanbul in 1977. studied graphic design at university. after graduation made drawings for some advertising agencies and publishing houses like parsmaccann erickson, propoganda, alametifarika, bastei verlag, altın kitaplar etc. from turkey, germany and united states. cömert dogru’s book cover illustrations for stephan king published in a book named ‘artists inspired by stephen king’ which include best book covers and movie posters for the author. the book printed by well-known american publishing house ‘centipede press’.the star drawing he made for stars of i̇stanbul project which held for the benefit of unicef in 2012, had named ‘best star’ and sold for the best price.cömert doğru does not use computer support in his hyper realistic works. the artist who lives in i̇stanbul does his works acrylic on canvas.
