About Cynthia Willett

Concepts of space, of Earth and its horizons;
of the density of matter; the colors of light and the quiet beauty of natural forms--these ideas continually inspire me as an artist.

Images of land and atmosphere
have been rendered thousands of times and in a myriad of ways, yet I search within these objects and phenomena for a meditative and untouched
space--worthy of my personal inquiry and documentation.

Before earning my Master of Fine Arts at Yale School of Art in 1984, I completed my undergraduate studies at University of Louisville in Ky, USA, where I majored in Fine Arts.
