David Atherton

Born in 1947, David Atherton is a self-taught British contemporary artist from Kent. Before retirement was a graphic designer at BBB design group plc. His works has been exhibited and sold all over the world. He has paintings in Canada, Australia, USA, all over Europe, Japan, Russia and UK. He has completed numerous commissions for clients all over the world. He paints in both Oils and Watercolour depending the subject. His Love of Lights Values in light and shade show heavily in his art.

Standard education up to when I was 15yrs old after which time I left school for work. I learnt all my art and knowledge as I progressed through advertising and Print industry.

I have exhibited multiple times in exhibitions in London, Maidstone, Hythe and Folkestone where I now live.
