David Greeves

I've always been fascinated by the way painting questions and enlightens our perception of the world. My work endeavours to reflect on a traditional visual language and juxtapose contrasting elements. I'm often influenced by music, literature and visual culture in the aesthetics of painting.

Currently I work as a teacher of art and photography to 16 to 18 year old students.

I have recently returned to making art after a long period of relative inactivity.
