Daye Park is a South Korean visual artist currently living and working in Brazil.
Her work explores themes of migration, identity, and belonging, weaving together the colors, symbols, and emotions of two worlds.
Through oil, gouache, and oil pastel in delicate pointillist or impressionistic techniques, she creates landscapes that blend everyday memories with cultural mythology.
Recurring figures such as the girl in hanbok, the tiger and magpie from Korean Hojakdo paintings, the Baiana, and the toucan embody a dialogue between tradition and new life.
Daye’s paintings are gentle yet radiant , visual stories of love, faith, and hope that shine across distance and difference.
