Abigail Deane-Williams

Abigail was born in the UK in 1985, it was clear from childhood that she had curiosity for the world around her. An inquisitive and creative child who loved to paint her impression of the places and people she encountered.

Like many teenagers Abigail experimented with drugs and alcohol, this become more problematic than others her age. Life became chaotic and she moved from Somerset to London, living in South London and enjoying the range of cultural influences. Unfortunately her problems with substances worsened and let to homelessness and addiction.

At the age of 21 Abigail entered a rehabilitation program in Bristol and continued her love of art during the art therapy sessions. The art scene in Bristol was something that fascinated her and so again creativity grew. Abigail found her soul mate in Bristol and they decided to move back to Somerset and start a family. During this time Abigail qualified from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Now a wife and mother to four children Abigail feels her past has given her more of an insight and intrigue into all areas of society. As a Christian she is moved by many spiritual experiences and has a huge heart for the marginalised.
