Born with a pencil in the hand.
When I was a child I didn't have a good feeling with food.
One day my mother discovered that the only way to make me eat without problems was to put some sheets of paper and some pencils in my little hands.
Since then, my passion and love for drawing and painting has constantly built up.
In the last years my own artistic research is focused on two directions: with my "Deep Painting" I'm investigating the universe of wild emotions, ancient fears, icons and myths hidden in the deepest side of our souls; with my "Minimalist Figurative" I'm working around our visual perceptive mechanisms of the reality, walking on the subtle border between realism and pure abstraction.
Nowadays I live and work between Basel and Naples and yes, I still feel myself happier when I draw while I'm eating.
