Alejandro Áboli (Madrid, 1980) is a Spanish conceptual and multidisciplinary artist based in New York. Drawing on his background in filmmaking and photography, his practice encompasses constructed digital imagery, painting, sculpture, and interactive installation.
Áboli creates carefully composed visual worlds that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. Through isolated figures, altered landscapes, architectural elements, geometry, and bold use of color, he transforms familiar scenes into images that are immediately striking yet reveal new meanings over time. His work explores identity, perception, human connection, and the ways in which we construct meaning.
Beyond the image, Áboli uses light, sound, geometry, and space to create sculptural and immersive experiences that invite the viewer to become an active participant in the work.
His work has been exhibited internationally, presented in multiple editions of The Other Art Fair, featured in Saatchi Art’s printed catalog, and selected for numerous curated collections. The limited-edition works offered on Saatchi Art are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
