Anthony M. Richison is an abstract geometric artist based in Des Moines, Iowa. Navigating the world as a colorblind artist, Richison views color not through passive observation, but as an intentional calculation of light, energy , and structural contrast. His work prioritizes exact geometric certainty. Tonal value, and vibrating luminosity over traditional color reliance. Every piece is born from a rigorous manual process---requiring 20 to 25+ hours of deliberate hand - drawing on glossy picture paper or matting board. From there, the artwork is refined through digital synthesis and finished with UV-reactive pigments, allowing each piece to react dynamically to surrounding light environments. Featuring structural motifs such as sacred geometry, celestial forms, and raw line-work, Richison's portfolio offers collectors an interactive visual study in structural, energy, and light. The "picture within a picture" blacklight transformation reveals a hidden, dynamic dimension under UV light.
