Sergey Skachkov was born in 1963 in the city of Tselinograd (Astana at present) where he has graduated in an Architecture. Winner of International competitions: "ANIMAGO AWARD 2005" (Germany) in the category of "Still" (Professional). The International competition of Digital Art "The Brain Project 2007", Laureate (Italy). The International competition of Digital Art "NVArt: Art Space" (2008). The "Kandinsky Prize" nominees' exhibition (2008, Moscow, Russia). The International competition of Digital Art «Dreamscape» (2011) in the Art Direction category. And also repeatedly received the awards of The Computer Graphics Society.
His artworks are published in Expose 2, Expose 4 books (Expose is the digital art industrys premier annual publication, featuring the finest digital artwork the world has ever seen.), in Point, Point 2 Russian digital art books, and in various computer graphic textbooks. Sergey Skachkov's art works are executed in the "Architectural landscape" genre of art. His architectural fantasies amaze by finesse and variety of forms.
